How to know the One True, Creator, Savior God.

God, by the very definition of "God", is eternal; that is to say, God never had a beginning and He will never have an ending. He always was and always will be, "God." God was not created, did not evolve, nor was He born. God is not a creature, but rather the Creator. Because God is eternal and the creation is temporal, God pre-exists all of creation. For there to be a creation, there must be a Creator that is before creation. Because we had a beginning, we assume that everything also had a beginning. But God's Word says God is Eternal. The Eternal God says in Jeremiah 10:10-11 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they (created gods) shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. There is only one God that is Eternal and therefore, all other gods are false gods who cannot give you life everlasting in Heaven. Deuteronomy 33:27 says The eternal God is thy refuge, Isaiah 40:28 says Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 1Timothy 1:17 says Now unto the King eternal, (the ruler of all creation from everlasting to everlasting) immortal, (He never dies) invisible, (you can't see Him) the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

By the very definition of "God;" a creature cannot be god. Nothing created can become god or be made into god. The "only true God" is a "Living" God and He is eternal. God's word teaches that there is only one "true God." God says, Ps 96:5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Idols are man made gods that are not really "gods." God's Word says that man in his spiritual blindness has changed the glory of the uncorruptible (can never grow old or die) God into an image made like to corruptible (subject to bodily decay and death) man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Rom 1:23 Why would man pray and trust in an image made out of wood or metal (gold or silver) that according to Psalms 115:4 are the work of men's hands. Ps 135:15-18 The idols of the heathen (people who do not know the incorruptible, eternal God) are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; (they don't hear prayers) neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them. Also, God says in
Rom 1:25 that spiritually blind men have changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature (man, cows, bulls, birds, etc.) more than the Creator We need to turn away from worshipping images and creatures and worship the "one true" Eternal God that loves us and can forgive us and give us eternal life!

Isa 43:10-11 God says, Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me
there is no saviour. Isa 45:21-22 ...there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, (from your sin) all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

One of God's names for Himself in the Bible (God's Word) is "Elohim." Elohim means "one, who is more than one!" The Bible teaches that we are made in God's likeness. Though each one of us is only one person, yet we are body, soul (the real you - the intellectual moral being) and spirit (the part of you that is interested in God or the supernatural). Likewise, the Bible teaches that God is "One God" manifest in three persons (Elohim)! God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Not three gods, but one God manifested as three persons; all equal in every attribute (eternal, creator, holy, all powerful, all knowing, love and mercy, etc.) but still only one God. IJn 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (God the Son) and the Holy Ghost: (God the Holy Spirit) and these three are one. Before God created man, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit said, Gen 1:26 Let us make man in our (plural) image, after our (plural) likeness: then in Gen 1:27 God says So God (singular) created man in his own image, (singular). God is only one God but three persons! This eternal God has given us the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, so we can know His person, character and attributes. For example, the Bible says God is everywhere and that there is nowhere God is not! That means God is omnipresent. Psalms 139:7-10 Whither (where) shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. In Prov 15:3, God says The eyes of the LORD are in every place, and in Acts 17:27-28 God says That they (the human race) should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; Imagine, we live in a world the eternal God created, and He is all around us.

The Bible teaches the "only true God" is also all powerful (omnipotent), all knowing (omniscient) and Lord of all creation (Heaven and Earth). As Lord of His creation, He has given the human race His laws. The first law of God says: Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Because there is only one "true God," believing or worshipping any other god would break God's law and be sin. God's second law says, Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: The Bible says in John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 1Tim 1:17 says Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, Because God is a Spirit and He is invisible, to worship an image (picture, statue, image, idol) is idolatry and is breaking God's law. When we break God's law we deserve to be punished. Rev 21:8 says But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Why so great a punishment? Because we look at this incredible creation and see and experience life and the great things God has given us and we reject His great love for us and worship some creature or created image instead of the creator who wants us to be with Him forever!

God says in His Word Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; And in Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (God the son) our Lord. Heb 9:27 says, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Although we deserve to be punished for our sin, God loves us and does not want to punish us; so God the Father sent God the Son into the world to live a perfect, sinless life (to deserve eternal life), and then to die on a cross for our sins. We could never live a sinless, perfect life and deserve eternal life, so God's Son, Jesus Christ (God came into the world in the form of man) earned eternal life for us! Then, He suffered and died for us, (He did not deserve to die) in order to pay our sin debt so we could have the eternal life that He deserved. Three days later He bodily rose from the dead, never to die again. Today, He is in Heaven and has the power to save your soul from eternal death and give you a new life (spiritually) that will never die; so that when you die "physically," your soul will go straight to Heaven. Heb 7:25 says, Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17 says, For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. God loves you and wants you to know the only "true God" and have life everlasting by believing in His Son. John 17:3 says, And this is life eternal, (life that never ends for God's people) that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Are you willing to admit to God that you have sinned and will never be able to deserve eternal life?
Are you willing to turn away from all idols and false gods and accept the "one true God?"
Will you believe (because His Word tells us so) that God loves you personally?
Will you believe that God wants you with Him forever, and that is why He sent His son to live the perfect life you could never live, and then die on a cross for all your sins so God would not have to punish you for your sins?
Rom 10:9 says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Believe in your heart (by fully trusting Him) that Christ died for all your sins and that He was raised from the dead. Now acknowledge Him as Lord of all. Rom 10:13 says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you want to "know" God and have your sins forgiven, pray to God right now and confess to Him that you have sinned and don't deserve Heaven. Tell Him you are turning away from all false gods and idols, and right now are trusting God's son, the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Remember, eternal life can never be earned in 1000 life times. Eternal life is given to you by "grace." Grace means God gives us what we don't deserve as a free gift. Eph 2:8-9 says, For by grace are ye saved through faith; (believing what God says) and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. We have eternal life the moment we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and one day when we die physically we will go straight to Heaven. 2 Cor 5:8 says, to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. One day in Heaven, God will give us a new body that cannot sin, grow old, get sick or injured or ever die.
Don't waste your life trying to do what you cannot do, trying to deserve Heaven. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ today and have the "Living God" come to live within you for all eternity!

Life's Most Important Decision

Sadly, we all have to face death one day. God loved you so much that He gave His son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for you and wants you to be 100% sure you're going to heaven. Your soul is more important than anything in this world. In Mark 8:36, Jesus said, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Realize how much God loved you. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Realize that we've all sinned against a holy God and our conscience knows it. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Realize that we all deserve to be punished for our sins... Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

But, because God loved you, He made a way for you -- the Lord Jesus Christ came from heaven to take YOUR punishment for sin; He died in your place and rose from the dead so you can be completely forgiven -- simply by faith.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Simply, PRAY to God, TRUSTING Jesus as your Savior and RECEIVE God's FREE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE for you. Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Friend, remember -- where you go when you die depends on the DECISION you alone must make -- No one can get to heaven by good works; trusting Jesus as your Savior is the only way you can be saved from eternal punishment. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."

Friend, your SOUL is at stake. God wants you to make the decision you won't ever regret. 2 Pet 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
